Huntersville Town Board of Commissioners 2024

Decisions from the Dais

The Huntersville Town Board of Commissioners only met once during July, but took important action to honor a retiring Town employee's service to Huntersville. When the Town Board passed the consent agenda during the July 16 meeting, they approved awarding Lt. Andrew Dempski his service firearm upon his retirement. This is in accordance with with North Carolina General Statute §17F-20, which allows a retiring member of law enforcement to keep their badge and firearm. Lt. Dempski served the Town of Huntersville for 27 years. The Town Board thanks him for his service.
