A New Pool in West Asheville

We’re one step closer to making a new pool in West Asheville a reality. Professional pool design experts unveiled new renderings at an open house tonight, blending important building safety codes, environmental compliance, and budget constraints with your valuable feedback from last spring’s community preference survey.

Now it’s your turn to take a look at the design. This could be a once-in-a-generation opportunity to bring a new pool to West Asheville, so we want to hear if you have ideas to help refine the design. The goal is to have the new pool open by the summer of 2028.

  • View renderings and leave a comment on the official project page
  • Chat at the Tailgate Market: Find project team members at West Asheville Tailgate Market (718 Haywood Road) on September 30 from 3:30–6:30pm
  • Chat at the Farmers Market: Chat with the team at RAD Farmers Market (21 Craven Street) on October 1 from 3–6pm
