Construction and renovations began in January 2025 and is anticipated to be complete for swim season 2026. During construction the pool and bathhouse and surrounding area will be closed to the public. Work to date has mostly been demolition. This includes removal of the old decking, shade structures, utilities, mechanical equipment, paving, railings and other site features. Other work that is ongoing includes:
• Set up of tree protection and erosion control measures
• Purchases of new pool equipment and bathhouse fixtures
• Grading and forming for concrete for new internal pool elevations
• Purchases of new lighting poles and fixtures
• Excavations and installations of new drainage, sanitary, and water lines
• Manufacturing and permits for new shade structures

• Installation of footings for new fabric shade structure posts
• Delivery of the new Myrtha pool liner system

Montopolis Neighborhood Park Playground Project
The playground project will be starting construction this month! Work will focus on replacing the existing play equipment with new equipment that incorporates more shade and play opportunities for all. Trees will be planted in and around the play area along with additional security lighting. The site will be fenced off and closed to park visitors during construction.
