It's budget season! We're currently in the midst of the FY2024 budget season, and we're working closely with City departments to review the proposed budget through city council work sessions. As part of our efforts, we're also planning a budget town hall meeting, where you'll have an opportunity to ask questions and provide feedback. I look forward to seeing you at the town hall meeting on Thursday, August 24th beginning at 6:30 pm at Second Baptist Church.
We'd love for you to join us at our upcoming community event. We're thrilled to announce the grand opening of our field office at 4351 Rittiman Road! There will be live music, food, and art vendors, along with representatives from various City departments and community organizations who will be on hand to provide resources and information. This space is solely dedicated to serving you, and we can't wait to show you the changes we've made.
If you have any questions at all, please don't hesitate to reach out to our office. We're open Monday through Friday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., and you can always give us a call at 210.207.0950. We're here to help!
It's truly an honor and a privilege to serve you.

The City is hosting work sessions to review the proposed FY 2024 budget. This week, city departments reviewed Animal Care Services (ACS), the 311 system, the Good Neighborhood Program, and the Dangerous Assessment Response Teams (DART).
ANIMAL CARE SERVICES
ACS is adding 5 new positions to improve response to calls and 19,000 additional spay/neuter surgeries for a total of 44,000 surgeries. These strategies aim to curb stray, roaming, or aggressive dogs in our City.
311 CUSTOMER SERVICES
To improve 311 customer service, 3 new positions will be added to form a quality assurance team. In addition, callers will receive detailed notes to provide feedback on the case request they put through 311.
Good Neighborhood Program and DART
To address nuisance properties in our communities, 4 new positions will be created to enhance response to DART and the Good Neighbor Program. The Dangerous Assessment Response Teams (DART) targets and abates commercial and residential nuisance properties with a documented history of habitual criminal or code violations of at least two years. The Good Neighbor Program addresses single residential properties with 12 or more calls (311 and 911) in the past 90 days through a multi-departmental coordinated approach.
Don't miss the rest of the budget sessions!
At these sessions, City Staff will review the budget proposals with the Mayor and City Council in detail. The sessions will be available to the public at AT&T channel 99, Grande channel 20, Spectrum channel 21, digital antenna 16, TVSA and City's Facebook page. Meetings can also be accessed by calling 210.207.1111 (English and Spanish options available).

Bike Network Plan
The City of San Antonio is leading a visionary effort to rethink how San Antonians move. Our Bike Network Plan will define a network of safe and comfortable bike facilities to connect us to the places we want to go and people we want to see. The plan will guide how we build things like trails, bike lanes, and crossings and help identify where they are needed most. To make this plan a success – your input is needed. Throughout the plan, there will be many ways for you to have your voice heard!
Take the survey!
