It has been a beautiful month in celebration and reflection of our collective Black histories. Check out a local event like the African American Book Festival or enjoy a new dish during Black Restaurant Week to celebrate!

In this newsletter, our office is excited to share with great news, valuable community information and impactful resources with you.

Earlier this month we hosted a Valentine’s Day event at the District 2 Senior Center. We had lots of fun dancing, singing and sharing the love with our seniors. We all had an amazing experience!

In early March we will co-host a community meeting with the Parks and Recreation department to discuss and receive feedback on a BRAND NEW park at Village Row. We would love to invite you to share your ideas and suggestions on what you would like featured in the park. City Staff will be in attendance to provide support. We hope to see you there!

If you are ever in need of services, have questions, or just want to have a conversation, our doors are open and there is a friendly voice at the end of the phone.

As always it is an honor and a privilege to serve you.
