| M3 Marsh Road & M4 Willow Road shuttle schedules to change Sept. 22

Effective Sept. 22, the M3-Marsh Road and M4-Willow Road shuttles will operate under modified schedules. The shuttles offer free morning and afternoon service connecting Menlo Park Caltrain to various business parks in Menlo Park. Please review the updated schedules by visiting the shuttle homepage. | Menlo Park Downtown Parking Management Study Open House Sept. 25

Attend the Menlo Park Downtown Parking Management Study Open House on Thursday, Sept. 25, from 6–7:30 p.m. in the Sequoia Room at the Arrillaga Family Recreation Center to share feedback on parking in downtown Menlo Park. The City, with our consultants, is working on a parking management strategy based on data and community input to evaluate potential tools to improve access and the overall parking experience in downtown Menlo Park. | DUI Checkpoint Sept. 26

Friday, Sept. 26, from 7 p.m. until 2 a.m., the Menlo Park Police Department will be setting up a DUI checkpoint near Marsh Road and Florence Street. This location was carefully chosen based on data showing areas with frequent impaired-driving crashes. The City’s goal is to keep streets safer by identifying and removing drivers who may be impaired before they can cause harm. Read more...

| City Council to review proposed Parkline project Sept. 30

The Planning Commission voted unanimously on Aug. 25 to recommend the City Council approve the requested land use entitlements and certify the Final Environmental Impact Report (FEIR) for the Parkline Master Plan Project. The City Council is scheduled to review the proposed project and consider the Planning Commission’s recommendation at its meeting on Sept. 30. Community members are encouraged to review the FEIR released on July 7 and participate in the Sept. 30 City Council meeting. Read more...

Now that the rainy season is upon us, rain will flow into the storm drains and collect any pollutants found on surfaces, such as roofs, driveways, sidewalks and streets. The state of California addresses these water quality issues through the Municipal Regional Stormwater NPDES Permit (MRP). The California Department of Insurance is proud to partner with the California Earthquake Authority to raise awareness about the Earthquake Brace + Bolt (EBB) Program, which is once again offering grants to help Californians strengthen older homes against earthquake damage. Calling all third through eighth-grade student artists in the RethinkWaste service area! RethinkWaste’s 2025 Poster Contest is now open! | Submit artwork for a library card art exhibition by Oct. 31

Bring us along on your library adventure! The City of Menlo Park is refreshing our library cards and inviting community members of all ages to submit original artwork inspired by the theme “My Library Adventure in Menlo Park.” Submissions will be reviewed by a panel of staff and stakeholders, and select designs will be printed on new library cards and made available to the public. Any artist whose work is selected for printing will be notified prior to printing. Submit your design by Oct. 31 for the opportunity to be displayed in the gallery Nov. 18, 2025–Jan. 15, 2026.
