Summer 2026

Welcome to the first edition of the City of Menlo Park economic development downtown newsletter. Menlo Park is a vibrant community with a rich history and an important role in Silicon Valley and the Bay Area economy. The City Council of Menlo Park has established Downtown Vibrancy as a priority for this year, supporting the many neighborhood-serving small businesses in our downtown that contribute to the vitality of our community. As the City strives to support and strengthen its business community — including our downtown district — this newsletter will provide updates on economic development initiatives, upcoming events, business resources and other information relevant to the downtown business community.

Published quarterly, this newsletter is designed to keep downtown businesses informed and connected. We hope you find it valuable to your business operations and as a resource for staying engaged with city programs and opportunities.

For the latest economic development news and resources, visit the city’s economic development webpage at menlopark.gov/economicdevelopment. For information and updates specific to downtown Menlo Park, visit menlopark.gov/downtown. You can always reach the economic development team directly at econdev@menlopark.gov.

Lastly, if you do not wish to receive these updates, you can always unsubscribe at the link found at the bottom of the newsletter.

Sincerely,
Collette Hanna
Economic Development Manager
