Since the closure of N.C. 101 began in September, crews have been working on installation of the sanitary sewer main and service lines.  The intersection of Live Oak Street and N.C. 101 will be closed beginning, Monday Nov. 16 as the final phase of construction gets underway. N.C. 101, Live Oak Street and the roundabout are expected to open in late May 2027.
