Public Invited to Attend and Provide Feedback at
Community Housing Meeting on August 21
FREDERICK, Md. - Members of the community are invited to attend a Community Housing Open House on Thursday, August 21 from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the C. Burr Artz Public Library Community Room, located at 110 E. Patrick Street, Frederick, MD 21701. The Open House is part of the Frederick County Division of Housing’s effort to develop a Housing Study and Strategic Plan.
The event will provide opportunities for people to share input, get information about the Housing Strategic Plan, learn about local resources, and connect with regional housing officials and organizations. In addition, the open house will include an interactive display of results from a recently completed Public Opinion Survey regarding the housing needs in Frederick County.
“From the beginning of this study, we have focused on the importance of hearing directly from people in Frederick County,” said Vincent Rogers, the Director of Housing for Frederick County. “The Open House is an opportunity for community members to learn about the results of those efforts and to receive some of the early findings from our work on the Housing Study.”
Representatives from the partner consulting firm, TPMA, will be on-site to facilitate interactive stations and answer questions about the housing study and strategic plan. While RSVPs are not required, attendees are encouraged to RSVP to help organizers plan accordingly. Light refreshments will be provided.
