|
|
|
The Cheyenne Downtown Development Authority is pleased to welcome Cassidee Raffa as our new Operations and Projects Coordinator. She plays a key part in supporting both internal systems and external projects — from tracking downtown initiatives to coordinating with vendors, City staff, and community partners.

Spiker Parking Garage Updates & Improvements
|
|
|
|
Over the past two years, the City of Cheyenne's Community Recreation and Events Department has been working hard to make Spiker Garage safer, brighter, and more convenient for you.
Here’s what’s new at Spiker Garage:
-
Walls, ceilings, and stairwells freshly painted (northeast side done; full completion by the end of the week!)
-
LED lights lowered for better visibility
-
70 speed bumps installed
-
60 corner guards added to protect the pillars
-
12 new “Fire Employees” signs on the 2nd floor
-
20 "compact car" parking spots (may add more if there is demand)
-
Parking spaces painted—yellow exit markings will get touch-ups this week
-
Gates are now in place on the 4th floor
-
Coming soon: floor numbering signs, extra directional arrows, and freshly painted & signed handicap parking spaces
Love the Improvements? Buy a Monthly Parking Pass
As of July 1, 2025, the monthly permit for the Jack C. Spiker Parking Structure (17th St and Pioneer Ave) dropped from $45 to just $30, which means you can save $180 a year for hail-proof parking (excluding the 4th floor). The monthly pass pays for itself in less than 8 days! *Based on the daily rate of $4/day after the first two hours.
