| FiestaÂź San Antonio: April 18-28
Plan ahead for traffic and parking!
Downtown San Antonio can get very busy during Fiesta! Visitors are strongly encouraged to plan ahead and arrive early to downtown events to avoid expected disruptions related to traffic, construction projects and parking.
- Leave Early and Plan Ahead â Heavy traffic is expected downtown during Fiesta. Plan to leave early and be sure to consult a navigation app, such as Google Maps or Waze, to find the best route to your destination.
- Use VIA Park & Ride or Ride Share â Using these services avoids traffic congestion and keeps you and those around you safe from traffic accidents.
- Parking â Visitors who choose to drive should give themselves plenty of time, plan where they will park in advance and enter the address of the parking facility as their destination address in the navigation app. A map showing a full list of City-owned garages and lots can be found on our Know Before You Go Downtown website, with additional details on the Cityâs SAPark website.
