As construction work wraps up on the Kiwanis Park Trail and Wetlands Project, visitors to Kiwanis Community Park should be aware of final construction activities over the coming weeks.
Contractors have made significant progress on the park’s new constructed wetlands and trails this summer. Already, just under a mile of new gravel trail is open for public use and new wetland habitat is in the final stages of construction. Installation of bird blinds and educational signage will be completed soon and dormant seeding for constructed areas began in late October.

Reminder: Oversized Vehicles
Cheyenne’s seasonal restriction on oversized vehicles parked on city streets began Sept. 12.
Oversized vehicles are defined as any vehicle or trailer or combination that exceeds 25 feet in length, 9 feet in height, or 8.5 feet in width. Mirrors, lights, and other safety features on a vehicle do not contribute to this limit.
Beginning five days after Labor Day on Saturday, Sept. 12, oversized vehicles may not be parked on the street with some exceptions. The restriction ends May 26, 2027.
Visit the City's website to learn more about oversized vehicles and obtain temporary parking permits.
