Huntersville Town Board of Commissioners 2024

Decisions from the Dais

The Town Board of Commissioners spent May holding several public engagement sessions related to the manager recommended budget for the upcoming fiscal year. After the budget presentation during the May 6 regular meeting, the Town Board invited residents to join them during a budget workshop at Town Hall, and two public engagement events: Brew on the Budget at Primal Brewery and Budget Bites at Town Hall. Following this, the Town Board held a public hearing about the budget during its May 20 meeting. After holding these sessions to provide residents with multiple chances to give feedback on the proposed budget, the Town Board expects to vote on the budget, which maintains the current tax rate, for Fiscal Year 2026 during the upcoming June 3 regular meeting.
