City releases Request for Proposals for downtown development

The City released a Request for Proposals (RFP) Sept. 15 for development of housing, replacement parking and other potential uses on downtown Parking Plazas 1, 2 and 3. The goal of the project is to provide affordable housing close to downtown jobs, services and transit. Six development teams have been invited by the City Council to submit detailed proposals for the sites by Dec. 15. Read more...

Effective Sept. 22, the M3-Marsh Road and M4-Willow Road shuttles will operate under modified schedules. The shuttles offer free morning and afternoon service connecting Menlo Park Caltrain to various business parks in Menlo Park. The California Department of Insurance is proud to partner with the California Earthquake Authority to raise awareness about the Earthquake Brace + Bolt (EBB) Program, which is once again offering grants to help Californians strengthen older homes against earthquake damage. Bring us along on your library adventure! The City of Menlo Park is refreshing our library cards and inviting community members of all ages to submit original artwork inspired by the theme “My Library Adventure in Menlo Park.” Submissions will be reviewed by a panel of staff and stakeholders, and select designs will be printed on new library cards and made available to the public.
