TRIANGLE VISUAL ARTISTS is a group of ten Triangle artists who came together as a “pop up” gallery. Each artist brings a different style to the group but together the works form a cohesive presentation. The works include metal cutting, acrylic, oil and watercolor paintings, weaving, photography, scratch art and glass work.
SARAH ANN AUSTIN is from Flint, MI. and has an MFA from the University of Alabama and BFA from the University of Michigan. Sarah has taught at various universities and colleges. Her home studio in Raleigh is perfect for moving between materials and modes of making alongside her 3 kiddos. She offers papermaking, printmaking, bookmaking, and photography courses with Sertoma Arts-north Raleigh , Halle Cultural Arts Center-Apex, Pullen Arts-Raleigh, Town of Garner, Seymour Senior Center-Chapel hill, Art for All-NC, and People First Tourism. Sarah Ann runs her own business, Legacy Prints and Paper, as a pop up shop displaying items all made by her and her partner. Sarah has exhibited at various museums and galleries throughout the US such as The Ogden Museum of Southern Art, Oklahoma Museum of Art, Detroit Institute of Art, Flint Institute, Birmingham Museum of Art and many more. She’s been the recipient of McNair Fellowship, Fotofocus Grant. @Legacyprintsandpaper
MAGDALENA SCHOLLE, born and educated in Poland, she earned her PhD in religious studies at the Institute of Philosophy, University of Warsaw where she later became a professor. After emigrating to the United States, the exchange of her academic career in Poland for an unwritten American journey led to Magdalena becoming an artist. In 2013 she enrolled in her first courses at the Academy of Art in San Francisco, and has since been recognized in juried competitions nation-wide. Her current project is a series of representational still-life oil paintings which examine the culture of tea and coffee.
