Caltrans advisory: Overnight ramp closures on U.S. 101 near San Mateo starting this week

Starting this week, Caltrans plans to close several ramps along U.S. 101 near the City of San Mateo, including Whipple Avenue, Hillsdale Boulevard and Beatty Avenue, from 8 p.m. to 6 a.m. Crews will start grading the ramps, installing guardrail and performing vegetation management control which will require their closure. Attend Menlo Park's upcoming City Council meeting Tuesday, Jan. 28. Traffic impacts on Willow Road through Feb. 7

Willow Road between Durham Road and Coleman Avenue will be under construction to update utilities for the Oak Gardens Veterans Housing project. The work started Jan. 22 and is expected to finish by Feb. 7. All travel lanes will remain open, but will narrow and shift depending on the work. Full overnight closures on U.S. 101 at University Avenue in East Palo Alto Feb. 5 – 6

Caltrans has scheduled two overnight closures on U.S. 101 at University Avenue in East Palo Alto. Caltrans crews will be removing temporary supporting structures from the area. Crews will prepare for the closure starting on Tuesday night at 10 p.m. All detours will be clearly signposted.
