Join Us for a Community Listening Session on Affordable Housing! 

The City of Hendersonville invites you to participate in an upcoming listening session focused on Affordable Housing. This is your chance to share your thoughts, concerns, and ideas to help shape the future of housing in our community. Your input is vital as we work together to address housing challenges and develop the City's Strategic Housing Plan. 

Why Attend? 

Voice Your Concerns: This is an opportunity for you to directly share your experiences and needs related to housing in Hendersonville. 

Inform Future Policies: Your feedback will contribute to the development of policies aimed at increasing housing options, improving stability for renters and homeowners, and preventing homelessness. 

Engage with Local Leaders: Connect with members of the Hendersonville City Council and participate in meaningful conversations that will guide our community’s future.

In case you missed it - September Strategic Housing Plan Meeting

The Strategic Housing Plan Steering Committee met on September 16 with an agenda that included a recap and discussion of the  Durham/Chapel Hill research trip, information on land trusts, as well as an overview of the Comprehensive Plan and City zoning and its relation to affordable housing.
