Construction and renovations began in January 2025 and is anticipated to be complete for swim season 2026. During construction, the pool, bathhouse, and a portion of the surrounding parking lot will be closed to the public. The tennis and basketball courts, playground, and pond will remain accessible through the park road. For more information on the history of the project, please visit our webpage at Beverly S. June 2025 Update

Work to date has mostly been demolition. This includes removal of the old decking, utilities, mechanical equipment, paving, railings, old pool structures and other features. Other work that is ongoing includes:


•    Purchases of new pool equipment and bathhouse fixtures
•    Purchases of new lighting fixtures
•    Grading and new pavement at the pool entrance 
•    Installation of new ADA sidewalk connection from the park
•    Installation of two new water lines for the pool
•    Excavations and installations of new electric lines

Upcoming Work

•    Grading and new pavement in the pool entrance plaza
•    Installation of new plumbing lines
•    Installation of footings for new fabric shade structure posts
•    Delivery of the new Myrtha pool liner system

Scheduled Milestones

•    Construction began January 2025
