We are making steady progress on the Municipal Building Project. Here is a summary of recent milestones and what to expect over the coming month:

Work Completed

Mechanical, electrical, and plumbing installations are finished in the Phase 1 project area, which is in the interior of the Municipal Building. 

Looking Ahead (Late November & December)

The Asheville Police Department fitness center will be relocated to 179 S. Charlotte Street in late November. The Forensics team is on track to move into their new space in the Municipal Building in early December. Following the move, Phase 2 slab demolition and shoring installation will begin.
