Willow Village environmental and fiscal impact report released Oct. 14

The city will publish the Willow Village project final environmental impact report Friday, Oct.14, 2022. The final environmental impact report includes a response to all substantive comments received on the draft environmental impact report and edits to the text of the draft environmental impact report. The final environmental impact report will be available on the Willow Village project page. Join the Great California ShakeOut and be earthquake prepared

In California, natural disasters can occur anytime with little warning, and earthquakes are not a matter of if but when. Being prepared ahead of time and implementing resources to help stay safe when an earthquake strikes can make a world of difference when it comes to quakes. As part of preparedness efforts, Cal OES encourages the public to participate in the annual Great California ShakeOut drill, which will take place on October 20, 2022. Menlo Park Community Campus construction tour

You’re invited to a guided tour of the Menlo Park Community Campus project now under construction in the Belle Haven neighborhood. This is part of a series of neighborhood-oriented tours at various stages of the project. The October 21 construction tour will feature the interior stairs, in addition to a walkthrough of the structure. Halloween Hoopla parade and carnival

Goblins, ghouls and ghosts, October is here and you all know what that means, it is time for Halloween Hoopla! Put on your Halloween costume and parade through downtown Menlo Park at our annual Halloween Hoopla parade and carnival. Participants are welcome to come in costume and participate in the annual parade through downtown Menlo Park to Fremont Park. Dispose of your household hazardous waste at our upcoming October event

In partnership with San Mateo County Health, residents can safely dispose of household hazardous waste free of charge at special drop-off collection events. The next event is Saturday, Oct. 22, 8:30 a.m.–12:15 p.m. To participate, residents must schedule an appointment. The exact address of the event will be provided once the appointment is finalized. There is a limit of 10 gallons or 50 pounds per appointment.
