Caltrain to hold hearing on proposed fare and fare structure changes

The Peninsula Corridor Joint Powers Board, which operates Caltrain, will be holding a public hearing Monday, Aug. 28 at 2:30 p.m. to discuss changes to Caltrain’s fare structure. Special Housing Element Meeting, Aug. 22

Provide valuable feedback on the City’s recent Housing Element Update and learn more about the proposed zoning changes by attending the upcoming City Council meeting. Your input will be used to inform changes before final review and action by the Planning Commission and City Council in late fall/early winter. This special City Council meeting will be held Tuesday, Aug. 22 at 6 p.m. at City Council Chambers and via Zoom. The Peninsula Humane Society & SPCA Foster Care Program is made up of individuals or families who volunteer to offer temporary care for shelter companion animals in their homes. Foster volunteers help shelter animals get ready for adoption. Currently we are seeking volunteers to foster dogs, kittens, guinea pigs and rabbits. RethinkWaste and Recology San Mateo County are teaming up with the City of Menlo Park to encourage residents to properly recycle old electronics. Residents shall place their electronic waste in their trunks and remove other personal items to avoid any accidents.
