Temporary CATS Detour – Labor Day Parade

The Charlotte Area Transit System (CATS) will temporarily adjust the following routes and the CityLYNX Gold Line due to road closures for the Labor Day Parade in Uptown on Monday, Sept. 4.

Routes: 1, 5, 7, 8, 11, 16, 21, 22, 26, 34, 35, CityLYNX Gold Line

• Where: Tryon Street between 9th and 3rd streets
• When: Sept. 4 from 8 a.m. – 2 p.m.

In addition, CityLYNX Gold Line service will be temporarily interrupted from French Street to CTC stations on Monday, Sept. 4 during the Labor Day Parade. A bus bridge will be in place from French to CTC stations during that time. Mint and Tryon Street stations along the CityLYNX Gold Line will not have service during this time. CityLYNX Gold Line service to stations between CTC and Sunnyside will be impacted due to the Labor Day Parade road closures. At 2 p.m. all stations on the CityLYNX Gold Line will return to normal service.
