2024 Youth Poster Exhibition opens for submissions starting Jan. 8

Drawing a poster

In conjunction with the City of Menlo Park Black Liberation Month Celebration in February, the Youth Poster Exhibition encourages youth creativity and expression. Elementary, middle and high school students who live or attend school in Menlo Park are invited to submit their original poster art for display in the Black History Month Youth Poster Exhibition. Poster submissions will be accepted starting on Jan. 8–Feb. 4, 2024.

The theme of the 2024 poster contest is “Black Culture in the Arts," inspired by African, Caribbean and Black American lived experiences. Posters can be submitted by individual students or as a classroom group poster.

To support Menlo Park youth to find their inspiration and unleash creativity on their poster submissions, the City of Menlo Park is hosting two Youth Poster Workshops led by Bay Area artist Nancy Cato.
