Fiber Outage Affecting Non-Emergency Phone Lines on County System Emergency Calls to 9-1-1 Center NOT Impacted
FREDERICK, Md. - A regional fiber outage has left Frederick County Government's non-emergency phones without service. Calls to the emergency 9-1-1 center are not affected by the outage. The outage affects desk phones. If you need to reach someone at a County office, please call a cell phone number when possible, or send an email.
It remains unknown how long it will take to fix the fiber. A notice will be sent when service is restored.
