Over the past two weeks, Street Division crews have made significant progress on the Patton Sidewalk Improvement project, here are the key updates:
Recent work completed:
Traffic control update:

On Monday, June 17, traffic control was extended down Patton Avenue.

This traffic control plan will remain in place for approximately 3 weeks (image below).

Crews will periodically reopen the lane in the afternoons and on weekends as work progresses.
Upcoming work (next 2 - 3 weeks):

Work will be focused in front of:

Public Service Building (91 Patton Ave)

Jack of the Wood (95 Patton Ave)

The building at 102 Patton Ave
-
This phase includes the removal of four trees, replacement of 152 feet of sidewalk and installation of a new curb ramp.

Coordination with adjacent property owners has been completed.
Access to Thirsty Monk:

Temporary access to Thirsty Monk at 92 Patton Ave remains in place.

Additional coordination with the property owner and business owner is ongoing.

A sidewalk detour ensures the area remains accessible.
