Join the San Antonio Public Library and the Holocaust Memorial Museum of San Antonio for the 11th Annual Holocaust Learn and Remember program series, running from January 3 - 29, 2023.
The 2023 theme of censorship focuses on how the Nazi regime controlled the information that Jews and other persecuted groups received during the Holocaust as additional methods of suppression. From propaganda to book burning to control of mail in and out of Germany, the Nazi regime used a variety of censorship tactics to restrict the public’s access to information.

TXDOT will soon begin scheduled project construction work on their right of way at the intersection of IH-10 and Graytown – work is expected to begin on January 30, 2023 and last approximately four weeks (weather and conditions permitting). Project work will involve excavation, subgrade preparation and placement of a 4” hot mix asphalt bond breaker and placement of 11” concrete pavement. Project construction will extend 125 feet past TXDOT’s right of way and into Graytown Rd. During construction, there will be traffic controls, temporary road closures and detour plans in effect. In anticipation, TXDOT’s contractor will set up detour signage at the affected areas and message signage notifying motorists in advance of upcoming closures related to construction.
Point of contact for questions and issues will be Carlos Seda at (210) 838-1341 and Rick Castaneda at (830) 832-0551 (email: rick.castaneda@rkci.com) – both are with contractor Raba Kistner.
