Introducing the City of Charlotte Strategic Energy Action Plan or the "SEAP" (pronounced See-App)

The City of Charlotte is currently updating the Strategic Energy Action Plan (SEAP), originally published in 2018. This update will shed light on progress made toward 2030 and 2050 sustainability goals. It is an important checkpoint as the City continues improving implementation in four focus areas: Buildings, Transportation, Energy Generation and Workforce Development.

The SEAP Update includes an updated Greenhouse Gas Emissions Inventory and broad Climate Risk Assessment. Through action, the City of Charlotte affirms its dedication to sustainability, and to helping residents join the effort to build a more sustainable future.
