At the upcoming April 29 meeting, Menlo Park City Council will take action on the proposed parking removal from the north side of Coleman Avenue to add a bike lane and installation of stop signs on Coleman Avenue at Santa Monica Avenue. | Menlo Park accepts $3M in sustainability, housing and mobility grants

On April 15, Menlo Park City Council adopted two resolutions accepting over $3 million in competitive funding from the Metropolitan Transportation Commission. This funding will help the City of Menlo Park install electric vehicle chargers, advance planning initiatives focused on housing policy development and parking management and enhance collaboration with other cities to advance affordable housing… Click to continue

| CERT Academy increases emergency prepared volunteers

The Community Emergency Response Team (CERT) academy, operated by the Menlo Park Fire Protection District, recently completed training for its latest group of volunteers. The CERT program provides community members with hands-on training in basic disaster preparedness, fire extinguisher usage, disaster medical care, first aid training, search and rescue techniques and neighborhood team building. With the completion of the recent academy, the number of CERT-trained volunteers on the Menlo Park Fire team has increased to over 70… Click to continue
