South Presa Street (SE Military to W. Boyer)

Beginning on Monday, April 15, 2024, through Monday, May 13, 2024, the contractor, EZ-Bel Construction, will have a closure of VFW Blvd where it enters S Presa St for the completion of utility work in the area.  To facilitate, all traffic on VFW Blvd will be detoured along Riverside Dr back to S Presa.  Two way (north/south) traffic will be maintained on S Presa St through the intersection during this work and all businesses and residents will have driveway and sidewalk accessibility. This work is associated with the $5.0 Million, 2017 Bond Project. Public Works will continue to communicate any changes or updates to Council District 3 and Council staff, surrounding businesses and residents. Project construction began in September 2022 and is anticipated to be substantially complete by May 2024. For ease of reference, below is a map of the closures and traffic control plan.
