 s the book Becoming Elizabeth Lawrence . The program will include a group
  discussion led by Wing Haven Director of Education and Community Engagem
 ent Andrea Funk on the relationships and experiences that helped form Eli
 zabeth Lawrence into an esteemed literary garden writer. One of Wing Have
 n s three gardens is the Elizabeth Lawrence House & Garden a locally desi
 gnated historic landmark and a Preservation Partner of the Garden Conserv
 ancy. After the discussion the participants are welcome to take a twiligh
 t walk through Elizabeth Lawrence s g arden. While reading the book is st
 rongly encouraged it is not necessary for attendance. All those intereste
 d in Mecklenburg County history are invited to attend! Parking: Wing Have
 n s parking lot is conveniently located between both gardens at the Found
 ation Office 260 Ridgewood Avenue with accessible parking available in fr
 ont. In consideration of our neighbors we encourage visitors to park in t
 he parking lot. If spots are not available please park on the side of the
