Please enter your name, email address, and zipcode* if you are interested in sharing feedback on the TAP presentation and receiving future notices about planning activities in Friendship Heights:

*Why do we ask for zipcode? There is broad interest in Friendship Heights, which is a cross-jurisdictional area on the boundary of DC and Maryland, as well as a regional destination in the Washington metropolitan area. We're asking for resident zipcode to better understand the geographic distribution of interest in Friendship Heights.

In partnership with the Washington Metropolitan Area Transit Authority (WMATA) and the Metropolitan Washington Council of Governments, the Office of Planning  engaged the Urban Land Institute (ULI) Washington to host a Technical Assistance Panel (TAP) to provide a high level analysis of opportunities and challenges in Friendship Heights. With a focus primarily on Friendship Heights DC, the panel has been tasked with evaluating existing land use, transit assets and access, opportunities to increase housing options, and providing cohesive design and public realm recommendations.  Learn more at: planning.dc.gov/page/friendship-heights-tap

The panel's work included a presentation of initial findings on April 23, and a report to be produced in summer of 2021.
