Visioning Session
Visioning Session
One key to successful revitalization is having a shared vision of the future. Community-wide ownership of the program is critical to its success! The community forum is a first step in bringing diverse elements of the community together to define a shared vision of downtown. Participants will identify economic drivers, assets, and liabilities, and begin to develop a vision for the future. This event will be held at Olde Raleigh Distillery located at 209 N Arendell Ave Zebulon, NC on August 18th from 6-8 PM.

We will break into teams to brainstorm a list of economic drivers, list assets/ strengths, list liabilities/ weaknesses, and vision statements for Downtown Zebulon. There will be 4 activities to facilitate these lists and visions.
- Activity 1: What is driving the community's economy? A community may play a role in the national economy, the statewide economy, the regional economy, and countywide economy, therefore you must think broadly about the role that Zebulon has historically played and the role that Zebulon can play in the future.
- Activity 2: What are downtown's strengths and assets?
- Activity 3: What are downtown's weaknesses and liabilities?
- Activity 4: What do you want for your downtown in the next 5 years? What is your vision for downtown? Think of the community's economic drivers; highlight your strengths and the improvement of the community's liabilities.
We have reached max capacity. We will be able to take a few walk-ins.
