PUBLIC INFORMATION MEETING FOR THE BEH INDUSTRIAL PARK TRAFFIC OPTIMIZATION STUDY
The Town of Ontario invites the public to an information meeting for the Beh Industrial Park Traffic Optimization Study on Thursday, January 20, 2022 at the Town Hall, 1850 Ridge Road, Ontario, NY. There will be an open house format from 6:00-8:00 PM with a formal presentation at 6:30-7:15 PM. Project representatives and consultants will be available to discuss the project in an informal setting during the open house.
LaBella Associates has been retained by the Town of Ontario and the Genesee Transportation Council to provide engineering services to support the preparation of a Traffic Optimization Study for the Beh Industrial Park in the Town of Ontario, Wayne County. The study focuses on improvements for the circulation and safety of vehicles and pedestrians within the project site and adjacent roadways, as well as provides strategies to support the continual growth and economic development of the industrial park. The project will assess existing conditions and propose a range of design and regulatory improvements to benefit all users of the Beh Industrial Park.
The purpose of this meeting is to provide the public an overview of the study objectives, data inventory, needs assessment, draft recommendations completed to date, and to answer questions related to the study. The next step in the process is to present draft recommendations. As part of the process, the study will solicit input from the public regarding transportation recommendations for the Beh Park study area.
