What are universal features and factors of each scenario?

Equity: All concepts aim to be as equitable as possible, through affordability, transportation equity, and other factors.

Access & connectivity: All concepts will require external multi-modal access improvements. All concepts will provide access to neighboring amenities, include a regional greenway connection, and provide external access for vehicles, pedestrians, and bicyclists.

Affordable housing: All concepts will provide opportunities for affordable housing

Open space & recreation: All concepts will incorporate a regionally connected greenway (with approximately 1.2-miles through the site) and river access, and some amount of open space preservation.

Sustainability: All concepts will aim to achieve site sustainability as addressed in this plan.

Phase 3: Reporting to Board of Commissioners 2022

The purpose of these presentations is to share compiled community input and seek additional feedback from Commissioners on the next steps, including the selection of a preferred concept. These meetings will be hosted in person in the Commission Chambers at 200 College St. and on the Buncombe County Facebook page.
