HOME Consortium Consolidated Plan (2024)
HOME Consortium Consolidated Plan (2024)
The Cabarrus/Iredell/Rowan HOME Consortium, including the cities of Concord, Kannapolis, Mooresville, and Salisbury, need your feedback to help us determine the best use for the federal funds we will be receiving over the next few years. Your input will help each county/city/town prioritize the needs of your community.
Each member of the HOME Consortium will receive HOME Investment Parnerships Program (HOME) funds to help needs related to housing for low-income residents.
The cities of Concord, Kannapolis, Mooresville, and Salisbury will receive additional Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) funds to address street improvements (sidewalks, lighting, etc.), housing needs, after school programs, homeless services, and many other activities for low-income families or individuals.
Although there are federally set rules which detail how funds can and cannot be used, the information from this survey will be the basis for what the Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) calls a Consoliated Plan.
The Consolidated Plan details community needs and explains how the federal funds will be used to help find solutions. This survey will end on January 31, 2024. For additional information, please contact Pepper Bego at 704-920-5133.
