Harrison Avenue Safety Improvements (PID 118053)
Harrison Avenue Safety Improvements (PID 118053)
THANK YOU FOR VISITING!
The City of Cincinnati Department of Transportation and Engineering (DOTE) is working with Ohio Department of Transportation (ODOT) to develop plans to right-size the lane configuration and install pedestrian safety improvements on Harrison Avenue from Queen City Avenue to the City Corporation line north of Boudinot Avenue. Harrison Avenue is a vital corridor connecting Westwood and South Fairmount to Downtown.
Public involvement is an important part of project development and the input received will help guide the decisions we make. DOTE and ODOT have put together this virtual Public Open House to share information about the project and gather public feedback regarding the alternatives under consideration.
Project Update (9/27/2024): The comment period for this project has ended and a responce to frequently asked questions has been added to this project website, https://publicinput.com/odot118053#tab-55269 Based on the comments received, there are a few changes to the plans that were made. These changes include the addition of a dedicated left turn lane from Harrison onto Montana and the removal of the on-street bike lane between Fenton and Fairmount. The project schedule has not change and construction is still expected to begin in March 2025 and be completed by December 2025.
HOW IT WORKS
This site is a self-guided tour through a series of tabs highlighting options under consideration. Opportunities are provided throughout for you to provide feedback and share your comments. Your input will be used to guide decision-making and identify preferred design alternatives. This virtual Open House will be open for comment 24 hours a day for 45 days, until February 5, 2024.
Begin by reviewing the Project Overview discussion in the section below. To advance between tabs, click on the green Continue button located at the bottom of the page. You can also move between pages by clicking the tabs located at the top of the discussion section. If you would like to view larger versions of any of the graphics, simply click on the image. Copies of project materials are posted under the Documents section, located on the right-hand side of the screen.
