2020 Annual Street Resurfacing with Bicycle Markings
2020 Annual Street Resurfacing with Bicycle Markings
The City of Raleigh resurfaces City streets with poor pavement condition on an annual basis. In addition to improving the pavement condition, resurfacing projects improve sidewalk ramps, crosswalks, and curbs. They also provide the City of Raleigh the opportunity to update street configurations to match the Comprehensive Plan (adopted by City Council in October 2009) and the Bicycle Plan (adopted by City Council in May 2016).
To implement the recommendations of the City’s plans, 5 streets on the preliminary 2020 resurfacing list are candidates for bicycle markings, which may reduce the availability of on-street parking. Please review the proposed plans and provide your input by completing this survey. You can comment on as many or as few of the streets as you'd like, no matter where you live. Specifically, we'd like to know:
Will the proposed bike marking plan impact you? If so, will it be a positive or negative change? Please describe.
What changes would you recommend to the existing configuration, if any?
