Community Care Days - Every Second Wednesday of the Month
District 6 is excited to announce our newest initiative — Community Care Days!
This event is designed to connect our residents with the resources and support they need, all in one place. Residents can stop by our District 6 Tezel Office (6644 Tezel Rd.) to receive assistance with CPS Energy or SAWS bills, or get help understanding their utility statements from two on-site experts.
We know times are tough and we want to make sure our neighbors have access to the help they deserve.
In addition, the Spay and Neuter Network will be joining us to help residents sign up for low-cost or no-cost appointments through their zip-code-based grant program.
Community Care Days will take place every second Wednesday of the month from 1 PM to 3 PM at our Tezel Office.
This initiative is all about making resources easy, accessible, and local — because caring for our community starts here in District 6. We hope you’ll join us!

¡El Distrito 6 se complace en anunciar nuestra nueva iniciativa: Community Care Days!
Este evento está diseñado para conectar a nuestros residentes con los recursos y el apoyo que necesitan, todo en un solo lugar. Los residentes pueden visitar nuestra oficina del Distrito 6 en Tezel (6644 Tezel Rd.) para recibir asistencia con sus facturas de CPS Energy o SAWS, o para obtener ayuda para entender sus cuentas de servicios públicos con la asistencia de dos expertos en el lugar.
Sabemos que los tiempos son difíciles y queremos asegurarnos de que nuestros vecinos tengan acceso a la ayuda que merecen.
Además, la Red de Esterilización y Castración (Spay and Neuter Network) estará presente para ayudar a los residentes a registrarse para citas de bajo costo o sin costo, según su código postal y los fondos disponibles a través de su programa de subvenciones.

Community Care Day with District 6
Join us for our District 6 Community Care Day to keep our neighborhoods clean, prepared, and supported! Our office will be offering shredding services, bulk-item disposal, and weatherization materials to prepare for the upcoming cold weather.
For this event, our weatherization efforts will focus on the Edgewood area. Our team will be block-walking to share weatherization information and distribute supplies to cover pipes and faucets! Please call our office at 210.207.3749 to pre-register This helps ensure we have enough materials for those requesting weatherization support.
While this weatherization effort is focused around the Edgewood area, all District 6 residents are welcome to attend and take advantage of:
