Downtown Associate Community Meetings
The Town of Zebulon was selected through a competitive process to participate in the Downtown Associate Community Program. We became partners with the North Carolina Department of Commerce, Rural Economic Development Division, and the NC Main Street and Rural Planning Center in a long-term economic development effort that has a proven positive impact on investment and job creation.
The NC Main Street and Rural Planning Center's Downtown Associate Program assists the Town of Zebulon in recognizing and preserving our historic fabric, and build on our unique characteristics to create a vibrant central business district to meet the needs of our community. Zebulon's mission is to work toward implementation of goals as established on an annual basis by our DAC volunteers and to achieve success by following the four-point approach method for downtown revitalization as outlined by the National Main Street Center:

2.) Economic Vitality
3.) Design
4.) Organization
