County Budget for FY27
How we spend our tax dollars should reflect our community’s priorities. County Executive Jessica Fitzwater is preparing Fiscal Year 2027's operating and capital budgets based on input from our community. Your input can help to shape the budget.
There will be one town hall meeting in each of the five County Council Districts. Those interested in attending may join whichever meeting is most convenient and may attend more than one meeting. Attendees are not limited to the meeting in their home district. The schedule is as follows:
Saturday, January 10 at 1 p.m. (District 5) – Libertytown Fire Station Social Hall | watch video
Monday, January 12 at 7 p.m. (District 3) – Whittier Elementary | watch video
Wednesday, January 21 at 7 p.m. (District 1) – Brunswick Elementary
RESCHEDULING: Thursday, January 29 at 7 p.m. (District 2) – Deer Crossing Elementary – Rescheduling due to weather. New date, time, and location to be determined.
Monday, February 2 at 7 p.m. (District 4) – Governor Thomas Johnson Middle School
NOTE: This meeting was originally scheduled for Monday, January 26 and was rescheduled due to inclement weather.
Each meeting will be recorded and posted online for later viewing on FCG TV. The meetings are open to the public, and no RSVP is required. Interpreters will be available for American Sign Language and Spanish.
