LC Coleman Park
LC Coleman Park is located at 1501 McDonald Street in Charlotte, NC. The existing 11 acre park includes two full-court basketball courts, one softball field, one tennis court, a playground, picnic shelter with grill, a gazebo, and a walking trails.
The Mecklenburg County Board of County Commissioners allocated $2 million to the improvement of existing local parks. Three parks were selected to receive this funding.
Over the coming months, Mecklenburg Park and Rec staff will work with residents in the community to envision improvements for the park. After visioning and design is complete, park construction will be initiated.
PARK CLOSURE. LC COLEMAN PARK will be closed for construction March 3, 2025 to Summer 2026
