Mayport Resiliency Study
Mayport Resiliency Study
We want your input on roadway resiliency options for the Mayport area.
The North Florida TPO conducted a Resilience Study in 2019. Its focus was the vulnerability of North Florida’s roadways to climate change stressors, including various types of flooding associated with sea level rise.
One of the more vulnerable areas identified is Mayport. The purpose of this study is to identify strategies to make roadways in the area more resilient.
The most critical segments were evaluated:
- A3: SR A1A from Sherman Creek to the US Coast Guard Station
- A2: SR A1A from Bayshore Drive to Sherman Creek
- A4: SR A1A from Safe Harbor to the Ferry Terminals
- B2: Wonderwood Drive from Sherman Creek to Mayport Road
- D2: Wonderwood Drive / Seminole Road within Hanna Park
The first part of this survey is to help us learn about you and introduce you to the study through the videos below. After completing this overview section, you can then click through the tabs at the top to help us prioritize adaptation options for each of the most vulnerable roadway segments.
