U-5307: Harris / Purnell - Option 2
This project will be reprioritized for funding in the next State Transportation Improvement Program. A schedule for right of way, utilities and/or construction has not been finalized at this time. However, preliminary engineering activities (design, planning, studies) needed for project development are underway.
Two options are being considered for the Harris Road/Purnell Road intersection with U.S. 1/Capital Boulevard
Both are partial cloverleaf interchange designs
The difference is the ramp configuration and Connection to Wallridge Road
Option 2
Harris Road/Purnell Road would cross U.S. 1 via an overpass
Existing Wallridge Road connection to Harris Road would be removed
New connection to Harris Road via existing roundabout on Wallridge Road
