2025 Local Mobility Annual Plan
2025 Local Mobility Annual Plan
INTRODUCTION
INTRODUCTION
The Local Mobility Annual Plan (LMAP) provides an annual look ahead at planned and proposed local mobility projects across the City of Austin, including intersection safety projects, street reconstruction, sidewalks, bike lanes, urban trails, transit stops and pedestrian crossings. The 2025 LMAP focuses on local mobility projects led by the Transportation and Public Works Department that are made possible by the 2016, 2018, and 2020 Mobility Bond programs, offering 238 projects citywide to continue build out of the City’s mobility networks.
Protected bike lanes and sidewalk improvements along Chicon Street between 6th and 9th Streets.
The LMAP process enables coordination among all mobility bond funded programs, designed to offer a transparent and flexible means of delivering a very dynamic, interdependent, and complex set of bond funded projects. The process is repeated each year to capture any changes or new opportunities that feedback from the public and coordination among the bond programs and/or other partners may yield.
Through the LMAP process, both the Austin City Council and the community can expect to receive an updated list of planned and proposed projects as well as information about how each program works, including purpose, selection and delivery. New this year is a complementary map with completed and in-construction projects citywide as well.
