Proposed Changes for Manufactured (Mobile) Housing
Proposed Changes for Manufactured (Mobile) Housing
Fairfax County is updating policies and regulations for manufactured (mobile) home communities. Join us for a community meeting to learn more and share your thoughts below!
Residents, Park Owners, and others shared their thoughts during meetings in April and May, which was considered in the proposed changes:
- updated policy about preserving affordable manufactured housing communities, and, if redevelopment is planned, providing potential resident benefits for relocation,
- updated regulations on how many homes can be located in a park, minimum distances between homes, and minimum distance between a home and the road.
The proposed changes, above, are in response to the Zoning Ordinance Amendment and Comprehensive Plan Amendment authorized by the Fairfax County Board of Supervisors.
