US 41 Transit Choices Concepts Survey #2

Bus priority projects are organized into three investment options: low, medium, and high investment. The different investment projects vary based on cost and timeframe to implement. In this way, the low, medium, and high investment projects reflect a short, mid, and long-term timeframe for implementation, respectively.  The benefits of the investment projects are provided in each tab below. 

Low Investment

Low Investment projects include mixed-traffic Transit Signal Priority (TSP) applications at the intersections shown in the map below.

Implementation of TSP in mixed traffic provides the opportunity for significant benefits including:

  • Improvement in bus travel time and reliability
  • Limited changes to existing traffic operations
