Metro 做出了哪些服务变更决策?

Metro 通过服务设计最佳实践、考虑公平性以及咨询公众对 Metro 的社区需求意见来变更服务。最终的服务变更方案需要获得 King County Council 批准。

  • 服务设计最佳实践包括以下标准:线路应该服务多种用途和多个目的地,易于理解,并根据需求匹配服务类型;
  • 公平性包括使用我们关于家庭薪资工作、社区资产和街区人口调查的统计数据。Metro 完成了一个网络分析,以比较优先地区在上午高峰期、中午和晚间的 60 分钟内可以容纳的上班族和社区资产的数量。优先地区是统计调查街区,那里有色人群、低收入人群和英语水平有限人士的人口密度更大。
  • 公众意见包括 40 多个小时的乘车调查,697 份完整的在线调查表,这些调查表被翻译成西班牙文、越南文、简体中文、俄文和索马里文,并与当地社区组织合作。

服务类型

  • 全日线:一周绝大多数时间均运营的交通线路,不分工作日与周末。 
  • 高峰线: 仅在高峰通勤时段运营的交通线路,即工作日早上 5 时至 9 时及下午 3 时至 7 时。 
  • 非高峰线: 工作日上午 9 时至下午 3 时及周末上午 5 时至下午 7 时之间的时段。 
  • 按需线:根据乘客需求或预定行程提供相应服务的交通线路。 
  • 高峰方向:在早晨与下午的高峰出行时段内需求量最高的出行方向。 
  • 固定线路服务: 经过事先安排且每次出行均需遵循同一固定线路并在公交车站接载乘客的公交线路。Metro 固定线路服务上运营的公交车长度在 35 英尺、40 英尺和 60 英尺。在同一天的不同时间,固定线路可能会有所不同。
  • 频率:频率指的是公交车班次。如果一条线路“很常用”,那么它全天至少每 15 分钟一班车。
  • 拨召车辆 (DART) 服务: 经过事先安排且每次出行线路可能与固定线路有所不同,须在距乘客上车点或目的地较近处接、送乘客的出行线路。 
  • 灵活服务:灵活的替代方案可以服务于传统公交服务无法正常运行的地区,为残疾人提供交通选择,或者通过需求管理来帮助我们改善拥挤路段的情况。我们将与选定的社区合作,评估服务解决方案,范围从扩大固定线路交通到更灵活的方法,如创新的拼车选择、按需厢型车服务以及与其他运输供应商建立合作伙伴关系,以满足特定的出行需求。

拟定的变更包括:

改进频率

105、148、164、166、168、183、906 和 180 路(从 Auburn Station 至 Kent Station)将增设班次。

改进夜间及周末服务

164 路将提供周日服务和额外增加的晚间及深夜服务。

166 路将额外增加晚间及深夜服务并延长周末服务时间。

168 路将额外增加晚间及深夜服务并延长周末服务时间。

183 路将额外增加周六服务。

906 路将在工作日的中午和晚上提供每 30 分钟一次的班车服务。

新接驳点

  • Covington、Kent、SeaTac 和 Burien 之间的单座乘车接驳(无需换乘)(通过 180 和 168 路)
  • Renton、Kent 和 Auburn 之间的常用全天候单座乘车接驳(未来的 I Line)
  • Des Moines、Highline College、Kent 和 Green River College 之间的无换乘直达(通过 166 和 164 路)
  • 定时从 Kent East Hill 到 Sounder 的公交服务(164 路)
