It seems like a worthwhile change but I lack sufficient information to register an opinion.

Clarification is good.

Did the department survey and mark the section line that is referenced in the boundary description change?

I want to comment on issue 8 for the deer hunting season setting and rulemaking. Please allow more liberal deer hunting seasons on Whidbey Island. My family and I love to harvest and eat those blacktail deer. We make steaks, burger, sausage,
and bone broth. I would love to help with the overpopulation issue via hunting.

Keep Grouse September 1. Lots of Hunts open on the 1st. It is nice to be able to hunt Grouse and Rabbit at the same time. Don't mess with Tradition.

I am unable to evaluate the merits of this proposal based on your summary.

I am asking you to please reconsider Adding Elk Area 5066 (Norway Pass) to GMU 522 (Loo-Wit). This proposal was lumped in with several other proposals during the comment period with no way to individually select support or not support the proposal, however
if you look at the individual comments this particular proposal had all but one comment stating that this is a terrible idea. This area is hard to access and provides the public with a great scenic area to hike and hunt for multiple species. Hunting access
is getting very difficult and expensive with WEYCO and other timber companies charging access and we are left with crowded public lands. This will be another example of a large chunk of land closed to the public for hunting. I am asking you to please leave
elk area 5066 (Norway Pass) the way it currently is and continue to allow us to hunt in the area.

Make the 506/673 boundary what it has been for ten plus years!

I disagree with proposal 2. You are taking an area that was open to general hunting for archery and muzzle loader and and putting it into a permit only area. Reducing the already small available muzzleloader areas.

Why are you trying to take more of the already limited public access areas available on the west side of the state
