Please plant native trees and surround park with native plants (or even add a specific pollinator garden) to support our wildlife, pollinators, and ecosystem, which are in desperate need of support with all the insane development in Raleigh.

I would love to see a more sensory-friendly area and extra time spent on making sure that the playground is accessible for everyone.

I'm so glad to see some attention paid to this lovely - though grossly outdated - pocket park. Love the addition of a dedicated grassy lawn and pollinator-friendly/native landscaping.

Let's Play Pickleball at Caraleigh Park!😊 Imagine Caraleigh Park bustling with friendly competition and laughter! Pickleball courts can make this a reality.
Social Hub: Pickleball's doubles format creates a natural environment for socializing and building community within the park.
Fitness Fun: This exciting sport offers a moderate-intensity workout, perfect for all ages and abilities.
Pickleball courts require minimal space and are budget-friendly to maintain. Adding them to Caraleigh Park would promote a healthy and vibrant atmosphere, encouraging residents to connect and get active.

This park is too small for a pickleball court unless Raleigh eliminates the basketball court. Save the pickleball courts for a large park that can handle the traffic. This park desperately needs foliage buffers between the park and the surrounding houses. When picking trees and shrubs, please pick native species that are in proportion to the area to be occupied. Do not pick plants that interfere with utilities or amenities.

Extra trash cans for litter control would be great. There major issues with litter in this area.

Make sure that when you use bright colors you also have an area that is more sensory friendly and more natural

Animal prints or other sensory-friendly paint on the walkway would be a great way to incorporate another sensory-friendly activity! (unique hopscotch game, etc)
