Each spring the City of Carlsbad prepares a work plan and budget that includes a detailed description of what the city plans to accomplish in the coming year and how much it will cost.
Day to day operations, maintenance projects and other core services make up the majority of the city budget. The resources remaining after these needs are covered go toward programs, projects and services designed to make sure Carlsbad continues to provide an amazing quality of life for our residents.
